Artist's Description

This image was taken on the shores of Cape Cod. Cape Cod is located on the eastern side of Massachusetts and is separated from Massachusetts by the Cape Cod Canal. Two bridges, the Bourne Bridge and the Sagamore Bridge provide access to the cape. Provincetown, which is located at the tip of the cape, was the original landing site of the Pilgrims. It is a well known vacation destination due to its beautiful beaches. It also is an artistic center with many small galleries and shops. It has fifteen main towns.

Eleanor Bortnick

I am primarily a landscape photographer. I hope to capture the beauty and grandeur of the natural world. Living on the east coast affords me the opportunity to photograph the ocean and Appalachian Mountain Range. Rural scenes, horses, still life images, and digital creations are also interests of mine. I am passionate about my photography and hope to convey beautiful moods and emotions through my images. I have won over 100 photography awards and some of my images have been published.
